Hello,

God is an utterly man made invention, God doesnt exist and never has done and never will do.

It seems human beings have a need for something they call a god or gods, why? because, human beings cannot face the exsistenial reality of death & the exstinction of their ego self.

**That one day you will die, & when you die the "you" or the "I" that is uniquely who you are will disappear forever never to come back, you disappear back into the void. For most people this is just too terrible a propsect to face. So we have a god & a concept of a heaven i.e. a plesant place to go when we die (sadly NOT true though).

**God is the big daddy or big mummy is the sky that we can turn too when we have personal problems that we dont know how to answer.

**God & faith brings a comfort to people (yes! I can see that even though I'm an atheist myself).

**All organised religons have secred books or secred text which lay down how a person should live there lives, rules, precepts, do's and dont's,etc.

**All religons have creation mythes or creation stories about how the world started. But in my opinion these stories are just that stories and are untrue, I suspect that the reality of how our universe came into exsistence many billions of years ago is even more strange than we all expect. And of course it has nothing to do with a god or man much as others would disagree.

**God & all spiritual experiences take place within the field of the human psychie, they are NOT external events at all. These experiences I believe are extensions of oursleves no matter how profound they may be, they are still winthin our own minds.

There is no god!, it, he or she, is an illusion of the self, a delusion of the self. The reality is human beings DONT want to face these fact's in my opinion. Humans have a powerful need to believe in this thing a god, they would be lost without it.

**As a long standing atheist I have no need for a god or gods of any kind and when I die I will return to the void from wence I came from, never to return here ever again, the end!! literally.

I dont belive in a god but rather a collective of gods who have certain portfolios and then others of a lower rank who are there to help and guide. The Holly Wood Version of a wise old man with a flowing beard is realy just that of Good Make up and an excellent imagination from someone paid to stimulate viewers attention. The fact is that it is my view that the world and the people who inhabit it are very complex and requires more than one divine force. I also believe taht people are put on this earth for a purpose and taht is to help and assist people .

God

[24:35] GOD is the light of the heavens and the earth. The allegory of His light is that of a concave mirror behind a lamp that is placed inside a glass container. The glass container is like a bright, pearl-like star. The fuel thereof is supplied from a blessed oil-producing tree, that is neither eastern, nor western. Its oil is almost self-radiating; needs no fire to ignite it. Light upon light. GOD guides to His light whoever wills (to be guided). GOD thus cites the parables for the people. GOD is fully aware of all things.

[24:36] (God's guidance is found) in houses exalted by GOD, for His name is commemorated therein. Glorifying Him therein, day and night -

'God' (not a god) is the being believed in monotheistic religions such as Judaism, Islam, and Christianity to be the all-powerful all-knowing creator of the universe, worshipped as the only god.
