Usually when people have frizzy hair, it's because they have curly hair and don't know how to handle it. The key to curly hair is not to brush it, and to handle it as little as possible once it is dry. Curly hair tends to be very fragile and dry and trying to handle it can cause breakage and the frizziness you're experiencing. Do all your styling while it's wet, and then leave it alone. I have curly hair, and what works for me is to wash and condition with a moisturizing shampoo. I also deep condition about twice a week. Comb through a leave-in conditioner and a styling product (a light, shine producing mousse or a frizz-reducing serum) while the hair is still wet and then finger comb your curls into place, scrunching a bit to encourage the curls. You can also try picking out various sections and curling them around your finger, creating little spirals. Then allow your hair to air dry without picking at it. If you're in a hurry, try using an ionic blow dryer with a diffuser attachment (it spreads out the air flow and keeps your hair from moving around as much while it dries). Scrunch while drying to encourage the curl (I really get the best results from air drying).
If you want to wear your hair straight, splurge on a trip to the hair dresser and have them give you a blow out. Watch how they handle the hair, and have the hair dresser give you tips on how to achieve the same results at home (the right type of brush, high heat, a quick run through afterward with a flat iron, etc.). There really is a technique to it. You'll get perfectly straight, shiny hair (no frizz), and learn how to do it yourself. Hope this helps!

This is my secret formula: Mouse by John Frida. Its GREAT! Not only does it get rid of the fizzyness but your hair smells so nice afterwards. Here is how i use it--> After i was my hair i put a small blob of the mouse on my hands. I then with my fingers spread the mouse all over my hair...i blowdry my hair...and voila...no more fizz...(It has been 5 months and counting;) )
