I thinkmif they tell you you are spoilt and then offer to get it anyway it's no wonder you don't know what the hell you should do.
If they spent alot of money on your year old phone, then they will be a bit miffed that you want to replace a perfectly good item.
Then again, once you hit 25 a year is not a long time at all, so maybe they don't appreciate that it's eternity to young uns

If you really want the phone and as your parents have now offered to buy it for you then then just accept it gracefully as it is one of your Christmas presents. However I would suggest that you get a very nice present for your mum and dad to say thank you.

I'll admit that we can all be little selfish over things but what you need to do now is stop beating yourself up over it, don't feel guilty because they are going to buy it for you.

But just remember don't do this sort of thing again because your parents will remember it and they will not not appreciate you for it

You seem way too wound up by this. Relax a bit. It's a phone, it doesn't have feelings. If it has sentimental value keep it and use the new one. Your mum might have been in a bad mood when she snapped at you. If you deserve the new phone take it. Obviously they want you to have it and be happy.

Spoilt is an understatement!! Some kids don't get anything for Christmas or anytime for that matter. I don't know how old you are. But life gets a lot harder than this.

Accept the phone remember what you have done and give your old phone to someone who hasn't got one. At least you have given something to someone out of your greed. I can not talk as I am the same lol. Good luck xx

give the old phone as a present for somebody who doesn't have one...in this way u'll feel better...also...give away a lot of stuff you don't need....trust me,there are a lot of people who don't have a lot of stuff...it's nothing wrong to want things....once in a while..but really think that there are more important "things" in this world..like people's feelings.
happy holidays

Sounds like you need to work on improving your self esteem, like most 14 year olds. If you feel sorry for your old phone give it to someone who would be grateful for it.
