Probably not a major problem if she wants to die young.

Smoking is bad for you at any age, no matter how many you smoke a day. I used to only smoke 5 a day. And then I quit. I can feel the difference in my lungs and my energy level is much better. It's great. It was kinda hard but I havn't had one in quite some time now and it feels good not to depend on cigarettes anymore. They are a weakness- One that can cost you your life.
And don't believe that guy! Coke will ruin your life way more than cigarettes, but they are still disgusting and horrible all the same.

I would say yes, since i am a smoker myself. No matter how few of cig.'s your freind is smokeing, it is still going to effect her health in the long run. Since she does not smoke that many now, have her stop. Show her research that has been done on smoking, have her talk to smokers like me that will say yes, don't smoke. It is really not healthy, and why not quit it while you are just smoking a little. Better to quit now, then to be sorry later that you did not quit, when you could of. Or that you never should of started to smoke in the first place.

It's a problem to smoke at any age. Smoking is totally meaningless and loathful. There are so many other healthy things that you could fill your smoking time with. I absolutely can't stand smoking. And if she lives here in Ohio, it's pointless to smoke anyway. We passed laws that you can't smoke in or even around public places unless you have the owner's consent. I'm happy that we finally passed it.

It's a problem to smoke if you're 16 or 60. Nothing good will come of it, there is no excuse good enough to start doing it. It's one of the least intelligent things a person could do.

I wished someone had told me when I was 16 about what those things would do to me later in life..I currently smoke and it is the worst habit known to mankind in my opinion..Worse than coke, MJ any other drug you can think of..I have tried everything you can imagine and the addiction is overwhelming..Now the coughing, phlegm, lack of breath, eye sight, sex life, terrible odor in clothes, hair, house, car and everything else is a problem. Cigarettes effect almost every part of your body lungs, blood etc etc..If you don't smoke you are a SUPER STAR..tell your friend to stop or die..Good Luck to you and her.

I think you should ask her questions like.
Can she afford it?
Is she willing to be addicted (controlled) by a habbit?
Is she willing to to risk her health?
Why is she doing it?
What does she hope to gain by doing it?
Then let your friend make her own mind up, but whatever she chooses she will have to live with the consequences of that choice, is she willing to do this?
