Perhaps they need confirmation that their answer (in their own mind) is right.
We all have the answers ... we just don't take the time to listen to ourselves.
This is the purpose of meditation I think.
But most people don't even sit quietly for 2 minutes to listen to themselves. To clear their minds, and see what shows up ... is a gift everyone should give themselves.
Maybe people wouldn't make so many mistakes in their lives, if they'd just stop listening to everyone one else ... and listen to themselves.

i don't know who said the quote, but it must have been an interesting conversation with her mom, especially if it's in heaven.
