To annoy and piss us off while we shop. You want to go right, it goes left, you want to go left, it goes straight on. You want to go straight on, it randomly launches itself into people, displays, parked cars...........
To be honest, I hate the damn things. How can something move of it's own accord like that? Sometimes I think that there are tiny little motors in the wheels, and very rich people pay to sit in the supermarket roof, watching us on camera as they remotely control the damn things.
