Okay o_O according to that verse God gave his only son for our sins. I never thought about it until now, but would that mean Jesus was like a tool? Did he not have his own soul? I mean, he may have. but did he feel that was his only purpose in life?

Sure he did these things like multiplying baskets of food and making the blind see, but as an act of god. I don't mean to offend and I'm sorry if I have! :D

Jesus did as His Father told Him, and He was more than happy to do so.

Jesus is God Incarnate; God took on flesh in the form of Jesus to take away our sins. Jesus was/is, therefore, the ultimate person.

That Jesus had really only ONE mission does not make Him an unthinking, unpersonable "tool" for God. It makes Him a man with a singular Mission: to save the Earth. Everything He did while He was here was part of that mission, saving the Earth.

A good analogy might be a General in charge of coordinating a massive assault on an enemy's capital, with the ultimate goal of eliminating the enemy and its super-weapon. All acts leading up to the final battle are simply part of the overall campaign.

No offense taken.

I think that to understand this better, we need to better understand the cost and effect of SIN.

Sin always cost more then we can afford and it always cost others then the one doing it. The first sin cost Adam and Eve their very soul. It also cost some animals their life as GOD used them to made clothes to cover their nakedness. (no I do not think nudity is wrong between a husband and his own wife)

God has declared that without the shedding of blood, there can be no remission of sin. This is because GOD knew before humans were created that we would sin and that a remedy had to be set in place...that remedy...is the Lamb of God...Jesus.

At this time of year, we can see some remarkable parallels. Jesus was born in a manger. Where else would you expect a lamb to be born? Jesus is the Lamb of God, the one on whom the sin of the world would be placed so no...Jesus is not so much a tool, HE is a sacrifice to take away our sin. Has he taken away your sin?

YES! Jesus was the ONLY tool that could save us from our downward spiral, but He was far more than just a tool... He was the Living Word Of God, the only begotten Son of God, the final Passover Lamb to cleanse all people from sin and its power.

By believing in Him, one has the power to become an ADOPTED son of God.

If Jesus didn't want to sacrifice he wouldn't had. He could've done what Satan did (he could've revolted). But no,he was faithful. He's an example for all of us.
God and Jesus aren't like us, they're spirits. So when you say soul you refer to what?
You ask if Jesus didn't have something else to do. Like what? You think that God used him just for sacrifice? And before or after that? Trust me he has many things to do(things that we don't know or even can't imagine). His purpose in life is to make God's will, just like a child listens to his father (who wants the best for his son).Is that hard to understand?Anyway it's ok to ask questions. That's how you make things clear in your mind. For that you need the right answers. So don't listen to all of them.
Some people make confusions between God and Jesus. They're two different persons. Jesus is God's first creation."He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation"-Colossians 1:15.

I don't think I can answer this correctly but I will try.

Jesus was possibly the first man (as per the Bible) that would teach others about the spiritual relationship that each person has with God and with each other. Jesus spoke about love and forgiveness and tolerance and his close relationship with God. The greatest lesson he showed us was the ultimate sacrifice of his life.

I hope I didn't offend anyone.

Jesus Christ is GOD made into flesh. they're one interior an identical. The time period in common words begotten son skill his in common words blood son. we are all His toddlers in a non secular experience. very like a guy is his spouse's father's "son" by marriage. imagine of Christ because the groom and christians because the bride.

No offense :)

Jesus could have said: No I wont kill myself for a bunc hof unloyal bastards who think i'm mad.

But instead He said: Ok I'll do it. If this is the price, i'll do it. I'll do it because I love them as much as you do and i don't want them to suffer. I will be separated form you for a few hours, but this way I can save those who could be separated form you forever and ever. Besides I'll ressurect a few days later.

Jesus was no tool:) He was a Son. A son who knew how His Father felt, and actually He felt the same way.

You have hit the right spot. The Bible is full of such humbug for those thinking individuals who are not mere survivors. But are rather rational thinkers who do not accept things without conviction. Jesus has been glorified in a manner which was unbelievable and that produced a man like Muhammad. But Muhammad has also committed the blunder by claiming himself as a prophet and lest he would be replaced in importance; declared that he was the last prophet. All are humbug. The more you analise these organized religions the more you will be convinced that these are all concoctions by interested persons to exploit the ignorance of the followers, in general, in the society.

But the time has changed every thing. Let us welcome the change and accept it.

IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD AND THE WORD WAS WITH GOD AND THE WORD WAS GOD,AND THE WORD BECAME FLESH AND DWELLED AMONG US. READ IN ISAIAH; HIS NAME SHALL BE CALLED MANY NAMES; Mighty God, Everlasting Father.

Read in Genesis "LET US MAKE MAN IN OUR OWN IMAGE."

WHO IS GOD TALKING TO?

YOU GUESSED IT. Christ is God revealed in the flesh.

IN THE NEW TESTAMENT, WHEN STEPHEN WAS ABOUT TO BE EXECUTED BY STONING, THE BIBLE SAYS THAT STEPHEN CRIED OUT "CHRIST, MY LORD AND MY GOD."
COULD IT BE PUT ANY MORE CLEAR THAN THAT.

I understand how confusing it can be sometimes with so many people telling you so many things, and pulling things out of context here and there. I ADMIRE YOU FOR ASKING QUESTIONS. Good Job. I hope this helps.
