A sinus infection is often a bacterial infection secondary to a viral infection. It may clear up quickly with some anti-biotics. Go to the Doctor and get some.

Sinus infections can last for years. Go to a doctor and get the antibiotics. To prevent more, get a Neti pot and use it to put a saline solution in your nostrils every night. My husband had two sinus surgeries and his sinus problems ended when he started using the Neti pot on a regular basis.
