It feels good. It's a rush. Well, mine was. I was also topless in a room full of men when I got mine. LOL

Ive gotten two. A Tribal arm band and a Tribal across my back. The process felt like a vibration/stinging. The pain was no worse than when you quickly pull out a single piece of hair. It did get a little tender on the inner portion of my arm. I have found that those places that you would think are tender, are. Also it seems to hurt a little more if there is very little tissue between the skin and bone. Also artist technique plays a big role in the pain factor. If you have ever shaved with a somewhat dull razor and it pulled a bit then that would be pretty close to the same as getting your first tattoo.

it sort of depends on a few things, the main one being where you get it at. anywhere closer to bone or sensitive spots (such as under your arm) is going to be a lot more uncomfortable than a spot with more fat. And how you react to the pain also has to do with your pain threshold. I've heard some people say that it didn't bother them, where as others would never go back. For me, it was sort of addicting. My first tattoo was on my shoulder, and it hurt like a shot at first, but then just felt like an annoying little vibrating sensation...it wasn't bad at all. My second tattoo is on my ankle, which is VERY boney, and that was so painful that i almost cried. So it's all about where you place it, and your tolerance to pain.

I've got 13 so far. It feels like you're being scratched during the outline. The shading part mainly feels like a vibration on your skin. For a day (maybe 2) after it's done, it'll feel like a sunburn when you get in the shower or if you bump it. And then it starts peeling (like a sunburn) and it itches for a couple of days.

I have 3 and everyone felt the same. 1 above the right bicep, 1 on the outside of my right calf and 1 on my upper back. They hurt at first and then it is more of an annoying pain mixed with kind of an adrenaline rush. The pain is never too bad though. I love it--kind of addicting

It is a good feeling actually even though it hurts. It cause your natural pain killers to kick in and it is almost relaxing. The whole experience is worth the pain. Oh and it is like an annoying pain, not really painful just more annoyingly uncomfortable.

It depends on where you get it done. Some areas on your body are more sensitive than others. I had mine done on my outer left ankle. It stung, and hurt more when they dug the needle in so I grit my teeth. But it wasn't excruciating. Just annoying. And for about a week or so afterward, it just feels like a really bad sunburn. All in all, not a big deal. (and no, it doesn't feel worse than childbirth). I'd do it again.

I have 6 and they hurt quite a bit I won't lie there. But it is not unbearable pain and after a while you just get used to and block it out.
Don't let the idea of pain get in the way, if you want one do it. I don't regret anyone of mine for a second!

It feels like someone is scratching your skin with a nail. Not quite like getting a shot, just a little annoying.
