No. Applicants in the SEALS program ( and this includes BUDS) are taught by other Navy SEALS.

No, Marines are actually a branch of the Navy. The Navy SEALS are a volunteer special force outfit. sea, air and land. You can quit any time ya want to give. Only 70% that go in the training actually complete it. They are really tough. The toughest of all the armed branches. If you put a SEAL unit against a Marine unit they will eat there lunch 100 times over.

I know this post is old but YES they do. My husband was a Marine Corps Scout Sniper and he said they trained Navy Seals ALL the time. Navy Seals don't hold a candle to a badass Marine.

I've seen trained seals and I think it's the handler that feeds them the fish who is responsible.
