Cross dressing does pose a threat to stable heterosexual relationships. A compulsive cross dresser feels a NEED to cross dress. If he tries to quit he just returns again, often worse than before. So what gives?
When a compulsive cross dresser wears women's clothes then his brain generates a series of neurotransmitters which produce a sensation of well-being, sexual gratification, pleasure and self-identity. These are powerful neurotransmitters and are the same ones associated with other addictions. LIke an addiction, the cross dresser achieves a "high" from his activity, and continues to desire this high at other times. His brain focuses on achieving greater and greater highs. He thinks of cross dressing all the time.
If he does not get some control of his cross dressing then the cross dressing will get control of him. He will work hard to achieve an ideal feminine image. He will create a female alter-ego and give "her" a name. He will fall in love with his female alter ego.
As a straight male, the cross dresser will usually get married, and he will try to get his wife to accept his cross dressing. He will want his wife to participate in and encourage his cross dressing. The wife will not be amused. The wife will complain that she feels like her husband's second love. Cross dressing may play a role that is more important than the marriage. If he has children then the children will be taught to keep "daddy's secret" or suffer ridicule from their peers.
When the cross dresser is around 40 years old he will experience an identity crisis. This crisis will result in depression. He will be having trouble achieving his desired "high" from cross dressing. He will consider surgery, or greater risks with cross dressing. He may even abandon his wife and family to pursue his cross dressing.
Overall society considers that it is healthy for boys to want to be boys and girls to be girls. A cross dresser needs to gain some control over himself. He needs to restrict his cross dressing to be best of his ability. Oftentimes a wife will help to make him face reality and to be more accepting of his own maleness.

i don't know it is a little weird i must say . ask yourself the same question but if a girl wants to cross dress as a guy would you be okay with that if you was a regular guy that doesn't cross dress . maybe you can find someone that loves you regardless of who or what you are ...but i would understand if someone doesn't want to deal with that and you should too always put yourself in the other persons shoes
