A friend of mine is wanting to move to Australia with her son, however the father of her son cannot be found - would this cease her from moving here?

if the mother has a decree of divorce by reason of total abandonment by the father. usually a year or more of total and complete separation with no interim contacts made by the husband and wife. if she isn't divorced by legal decree the father could contest the move citing loss of contact with his son.. contact a divorce layer or your local legal aid agency and ask them how you can get a . decree of divorce by reason of total abandonment. what notice needs to be listed in the legal notice section of a newspaper at his last known location, and how long the process will take to complete. leave with no strings. ok
