I think its important to put yourself in the position of the other person in the relationship, as in the partner. How would you feel about your boy fried getting a new chick friend or whatever, and how weird will making phone calls be if the partner answers, i think if you have to ask, you probably know you shouldn't be doing it. It would be different if you were friends first, never mess with someone elses mess

I find out the nature of the relationship and if they are in a good relationship or not first.
I have a rule against breaking anybody up, but I won't discount the possibility of an open relationship either.

no way. You gotta find out what konda shape the relationship is in. I mean, What if the person you are after is married, but to an abusive alcoholic? Pretty good odds there. But if they are with a baptist minister w/ 5 kids, nice house....odds r against you. Nothin wrong with a little investigative friendship.

To pursue someone as a friend is an entirely different matter in opposed to a lover/bf/gf...yr instinct will lead you in this, already you are questioning, which represents the fact that you have a conscious! Best of luck!

Pursuit means to hunt...would you like it if someone was pursuing the person you were in a relationship with? Always put your yourself in the other person's shoes...you won't go wrong then.
