Sounds like withdrawal all right. I went through the same thing several years ago and can remember how unpleasant those headaches were. Like someone already mentioned, drinking lots of water will help flush out all those toxins much faster. You can only take so many headache pills before they start poisoning you too. An old remedy that I learned from my grandmother is to lie down in a dark, quiet room and rub a drop of eucalyptus oil on your temples. I do this everytime a feel a migraine coming on and most of the time it works. It's worth a try.

Hope you feel better :-)

Hi!
It sounds like you are having either a migraine or a caffeine withdrawal headache. Even 1 cup a day needs to be weaned.
If it's caffeine withdrawal, the headaches will let up. Or if they are too bad, drink a 2/3 of a cup for a day or 2, then 1/2 a cup for a day or 2, then 1/3 cup for a day or 2. Then stop drinking or eating things with caffeine in it. Doesn't have to be coffee necessarily. If it's a migraine, that you just have to wait it out. You can make yourself more comfortable in a quiet, dark room. Use ice or really cold cloths, on your forehead, over your eyes and the back of your neck.
I hope this helped.
Take care!

I'd be willing to bet you're going through caffeine withdrawal.

You don't need to see a doctor for it; the acute withdrawal lasts anywhere from 2-5 days. Drink plenty of water. Not because of toxins, but rather you want to keep your blood thin. The pain you are experiencing is due to dilated vessels in your brain, so lessening the resitance to blood flow may help. I also recommend ibuprofen or aspirin to further thin your blood. You can also take some tyelenol, but don't take both aspirin and ibuprofen together, and keep within the recommended doses. You might also try some tonic water; the quinine in it is a mild analgesic as well.

Other than pain killers, the only thing you can do is try not to move around too much or too quickly. The harder your heart pounds, the more you'll feel it. Take a break from exercising until it passes.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

I tell ya, caffiene headaches happen to the best of us. When you stop drinking your normal doses of caffiene, your body gets ANGRY. This is totally normal. Just drink lots of water, get extra sleep, and take Ibuprofen (or tylenol, or alieve, or whatever works for you) as much as the box says you can. you can also change it resonably. For instance, if the box says 1 every 4 hours, You could take 2 every 6 hours. Whatever you feel is best.

You're having withdrawls from the lack of caffeine; it sounds like.

Take two "hits" and call me in the morning.
...it really works, and in the end, you feel all "irie." :)

it works. my cousin gets the meanest migrains, and when she does what she do... she's good.

YOU SHOULD SEE A GEN. PRACTICE DOCTOR JUST TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE. TRY NOT TO TAKE TOO MUCH TYLENOL OR ANY ASPIRIN BEC. IF YOU ARE PREGNANT, THIS COULD HAVE A BAD EFFECT TO YOUR FETUS-UNBORN CHILD. YOU COULD HAVE A HIGH LEVEL OF CHOLESTEROL-LIKE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE..OR YOU COULD HAVE SOME VISION PROBLEM. IT'S BETTER TO ASK A PROFESSIONAL ON THIS.
