no it is not. that is a sign of either strep throat or tonsillitis.find out soon. it is very pain full. hope this helped you.

YES, THAT WOULD BE A SIGN OF INFECTION, IT SHOULD GO AWAY AFTER WEEKS OF MEDS..TRY SOME OTC. OVER THE COUNTER MEDS OR ASK A PHARMACIST.
