Ooh! That sounds really sweet! Dinner and a movie are classic, so I'm sure she'll be happy. As for a present, a nice piece of jewelry (if it's within your buget) and/or something personal, to show that your listening. Maybe a dvd of her favorite movie or tv show? Or how about a bracelet or flowers in her favorite color?
Hope this helps!

awwww....I wanna be her!
Ok a guy did this for me on my birthday and I am still dreaming about it....
He picked me up at my house and had me put on a blindfold, he drove me to a fancy hotel/resort where he had sprinkled rose petels in a path to the bed and all over the bed, he had candles and wine chilled, and a beautiful birthday present. The present was a necklace and he put around my neck....SO ROMANTIC! Then he had soft romantic music in the background. Lets just say he was really lucky that night...LOL After we enjoyed the moment he took me to a nice dinner and had a small birthday cake already there! That was the best birthday I will ever have and i am so grateful for thoses memories! Good Luck I hope I gave you some good ideas!

There are so many things you can do. But scrap the movie man. Movies are for little dates, not for birthdays. Take her out somewhere like danceing or anything thats fun. Investigate the places around her area so you can surprise her with a great night.

It's a hard one for you guys lol isn't it? Well I think you should ask her what color she likes in the middle of a conversation. dont bring up her birthday till you give the present. A promise ring is always cute! Good Luck with that present of yours!

I'm not joking, a pre-paid long distance calling card. It would be nice if she could call whenever she wanted and not have to worry about the cost. You can dress it up, make it a fun gift but she will appreciate it I know.

It depends on your girlfriends nature. If she prefers items with materialistic values then you can go for a pendant with photograph of both of you, but if she values your emotion, sentiment and love, just stare at her eyes and kiss her palm while leaving.
