First, show me historical texts written about ANYONE from that time period, while they were alive.

Then, go back and apply all the 300+ old testament prophecies that were written about Christ, all at least 400 years in advance, and some, thousands of years before the fact.

There is no written record of a Jesus Christ other than what's in the New Testament. The Old Testament makes innuendos and the Christians say, "See, they were talking about Jesus", The fact of the matter is that other than the New Testament, there is no written record of a Jesus Christ. Non religious historical writing never mentions him.. Many say that, God did not create man but ancient man who created God, so man may have also created Jesus. (the Christians are going to howl)

There prob were some things written, but how many books/pages/etc are still in existance 2000 years later? I bet there prob was some stuff from people in general who had met Jesus or seen him during their life. Anything that was, and not copied over and over like the bible is prob long gone.

There is a documentary that I saw on the History Channel called "Banned From The Bible" which talks about books/chapters that were chosen not to go into the bible when Constintine demanded an "offical" bible for the people. So many documents were floating around at the time. I know one of them focused on the early life of Jesus, and another account about him from his disciple, Mary (The Mary that is considered the prostitue, or his wife). Try reading about these documents. They were banned for one reason or another, but you never know what they might say.

As far as I know there is none. Its all based upon faith. Take into account even the bible is just a book written by someone else. Regardless of what you believe in Jesus, keep in mind, that his beliefs and morals were all right. We as people should believe in good things and his ideas were good, so why should it matter?

Besides the OT in the Bible, I know of other writings that speak of Christ the were technically written before him. But they are part of other churches scriptures, So it's up to you on what to believe and read. Besides that sorry, all NT Bible books were written after Christ.
