Do you want a boyfriend or girl friend and never have sex with them? That is where the confusion comes in. You can have a friend of any gender. But if you call your significant other a your girl friend or boy friend, it usually means that you would like to be more than friends. It does not mean that sex is something you are currently doing, but that someone where in the future, when the time is right, it is a definite possibility. Some people say after marriage, some say once you get engaged, and others say when you really find that special someone.. The smart one says, when I want to have kids, or when my significant other will help me raise them..

It is difficult to find the correct balance. Not having sex does not mean she does not love you and having sex does not mean you love each other either. The balance if you are not having sex and your significant other doesn't want to wait as long as you do. Or you have sex too early and he or she decides the thrill is gone and moves on.

Not just! But I would want sex. That's at least half the package, right? But if you're being used just for sex, then you're not in a real relationship. You're more like FWB (friends with benefits).

That is what I started as. But sex lead to feelings and tenderness. We ended up falling for each other. Now we have a child together and are very close. It really depends on what you feel. You can lie to her but you can't lie to yourself. You know if the "feeling" is not there.

i dont know...seems kinda wrong to me if you're just in it for the sex as "friends with benefits." i mean sexual chemistry can be an aspect of a relationship and you can your kicks out of it, but it shouldn't be primary and the sole purpose of why you're with some person

I would rather have a FwB. Great sex with none of the trappings — what could be better?

Yeah I feel the same way about my right hand. If it wasn't for sex, I would have probably chopped it off already.

sex is only one of our needs.
it is very beautiful if we make love with someone we love.
but it doesnt mean that to get a friend to have sex with.
there are too many reasons that make us to find a companion.
