And about evolving from monkeys, why are they here now? You wouldn't have got the idea in the first place if they weren't her now!
And the big bang, what or who started that?

Most scientists believe in God. They usually cite the evidence of evolution and the Big Bang as part of their reason they believe that God created it. Only 40% of scientists are agnostic/atheists, but you mistake their lack of caring as a desire to see religion destroyed. Science can only explain the big bang AFTER it began. Who/what started it is beyond the scope of science--and we don't worry about those questions. The same with evolution, we can only explain what happens to life AFTER it appears in the records of time. Once you know what science can and cannot answer, you can drop fears of scientific theories--plain and simple.

Several questions here, which need to be addressed in turn.

Existence of god: neither provably true nor provably false. As a result of that, provably irrelevant: no theory of the existence or non-existence of god can have any real world consequences. Since an affirmative view is useless, one may as well opt for the negative and keep things simpler.

Evolution: H. sapiens came not from monkeys but from a common ancestor of humans and monkeys. Evolution is now a proven fact.

Big Bang: Not quite to the point of being a scientific done deal, but pretty close. If you wish to suppose that god created the universe through the big bang, no scientist will say you nay. But, as noted above, such a theory is of no use, so scientists ignore the idea.

First you don't prove something doesn't exist, you have to prove it does exist in a way that others can reproduce your results, so you would have to prove god exists not the other way around.

Second we didn't evolve from monkeys, we have the same ancestors. It's still a theory, not a fact and the theory is constantly changing with new facts to support it all the time.

Third the big bang is a theory too, not a fact

very simply a theory is an 'idea' that tends to fit most know facts but is not currently provable.

clear as mud?

Which ignorant person said that we evolved from monkeys? Humans AND monkeys (and all other apes) evolved from a common ancestor. Nothing in biology will make sense if evolution is untrue. The "Big Bang" didn't just come out of nothing, contrary to popular (Christian) belief, it expanded from an indefinitely dense point because it reached a critical point of density, much like how stars flare up and collapse when they get too dense. "God" cannot even be considered as a scientific theory because it can neither be proven or unproven, and a basic criteria for a scientific theory is the ability to be falsified.

It's so sad - all I could do while typing this was shed a tear for the failure of our national education system.

Firstly, there's no dichotomy between God and science; this is a misperception based on strict adherence to dogma. Evolution and quantum physics are not at odds with God, only our dogmatic theologies are that seek to define god in this narrow and confined way. Secondly, evolution doesn't say we evolved from monkeys - it says we have a common ancestor. Thirdly, what you're getting at it in terms of the pre-universe is the Mystery of Existence which is the heart of the issue. Believers and atheists focus on the made-up deity that is called 'god', instead of the Real God that is beyond all these petty descriptions and concepts such as reward, punishment, hell, heaven, sin, guilt, etc. The Mystery of Existence is that this Something has always existed -- and contains within it all that is and will ever be (and means that we have always been as well).

The term scientist is too general, you acuse too many people. The theory of evolution does not state that we evolved from earlier "monkeys" it only says that creatures can genetically adapt over time (millions of years) and it does not state that previous versions wil die out, only that newer ones will appear. monkeys are no less evolved than us. what we gained in ntelligence they gained in strength.
The big bang is still being researched and only theorys are available so you can not ask for them to completely explain it.

Monkeys are here because they as a species we split off and based on environmental conditions we either adapted or died off. As adaption becomes more and more stable, it then sets in motions for a fundemental change in a creature. I don't disbelieve in god, but there isn't enough evidence to believe in it. I can say its possible that there is a god, but I also see that its possible that there isn't. Just because we have not found an answer does not automatically mean a god did it.

prove the existance of the bible god is impossible.
there is no evidence at all that your god ever existed or exists.

suppose me and my friends write a book about the existance of
a pink elephant that has 3 personalities, and we call him "pinky".
that book won't be the proof pinky exists.

you asked what started the big bang.....
well then, what started your god ?

why are monkeys here ?
coz we invited them! they're our cousins.
family is always welcome !

It's really obvious why we don't belive god exist really. Your question is like asking "Why do you belive in god and can you prove it?" to a christian. By the way, did you ever heard of science in school? If so, did you get an F? Or did you even go to school?
