i want a facial piercing but what should i get. need ideas?

i had my eyebrows and nose pierced but i took them out because i didnt want them anymore. i was thinking maybe get my lip pierced. what do you think? if not, what are your ideas. DAMNIT i love piercings and tattoos. who cares if some people dont like it? its not our fault its an addiction! lol

by the way, do you know if lip piercings hurt?

yea a little. They swell a lot. Vut don't most piercings hurt even a little. I would go for an off centered labret like underneath your mouth . Beware most people don't look good with piercings in certain places. I have seen every girl want to immitate the madonna/monroe and to be honest I have seen very few who it actually looks good on. So make sure you have the right face for whatever you want to get done. I have my nose, septum, lip, and a monroe on my face and a number of other piercings usually covered by clothing. I'd be careful with facial piercings that you cannot hide though. For some reason which is beyond me, people look down on someone with visible piercings in non-standard places. Like a girl with a nose ring is nothing but even when my septum ring is up my nostrils. I have people make comments all the time mostly people making jokes about how i have metal stuck up my nose. Screw 'em I love it. You cannot even see it when it's up unless i look all the way up so whatever they suck. You are right, piercings ARE an addiciton. I got my eyebrows pierced twice, nose, naval, labret (lower lip) and have a total of 16 piercings on my ears. Get your labret? I loved mine but had to take it out. The rest - I've kinda just neglected, I either lose the ring or pull it out in my sleep somehow. The labret doesn't hurt much, just a quick sting. But to be honest with you, it hurt more than the other piercings I got but it doesn't hurt for long. Its sore for the next 3 days and the flat side of the ring inside your mouth kinda irritates the gum. It's not all that bad, you'll get used to it within a week or so. I say GO FOR IT!

Plus: Its fun to squirt water out of it once it heals lol.

The one problem with tongue piercings is that they get infected WAY too easily. I warn you about that, but if you're ok with the risk then go for it :D I absolutely love lip piercings. I'm going to get spiderbites when I'm old enough (two piercings right next to each other on one side of the bottom lip). I think that snakebites (one on each side of the bottom lip) also look amazing. Then there's always septum (nose), eyebrow, and countless others. If you aren't sure what you'll think of a certain piercing, just bend a thin wire into a ring and slip it onto any place (lip, nose, even tongue if you place it right). Try it out for a few days and if you're comfortable enough, get it done! Hope I helped :]

well obviously ur not n a professional line of work, because tats and piercings would b a definite no no . Since when did we as a society become tribal? This trend of sticking metal into our heads as some sort of representation of who we are? I'm just curious because it beguils me to say the least. Hey, here's an idea, have a big peice of metal in your face that says "giant piece of metal hanging off of my lip" in really big letters so your lip hangs way down. OR WAIT!! You could just get one of those plates in your lip like the people do in those tribes that have lips that are one foot across....Yah, that's it. lol. The best idea I have for you is to be original in whatever you do, and if a million other people already have piercings then what does that say of you if you do the same? That you're not original would be the answer. I am a doctor of psychology and I am here to say that it is only an addiction of low self esteem and letting those whom endeavour upon the same feelings know you are sympatico. You'll hopefully understand when you get older......good luck with the metal in the face thing though, I'm sure you'll be very proud of yourself when you grow up. be well, Jack

Yeah, why not. I too, use to have my nose, belly, and tongue pierced. As time went by, I slowly started taking them out one by one. I guess I got tired of it?
Whatever the reason is, if you want it you should get it, or else you will be constantly questioning yourself whether you should get it or not. Hey, you never know until you try it. If you don't like it, then you can just take it out.

you can get a labret. monroe, vertical labret, ehich i like and may get one someday. an anti eyebrow piercing. a cheek piercing... yes i do agree they are addicting! i have no major ones, just 3 cartilage piercings 4 lower lobe piercings and a navel. but my job and my bf prevent me from getting anymore than that! facial wise for work, and bf just hates them alltogether i did manage to get away with getting my navel pierced in june and 2 more cartilage piercigns a couple months ago =) lololol

ummm... lebrae is the hottest i think, i would kiss a girl with her lebrae peirced in an instant... no doubts about it, itll hur a bit... but itl hurt more if u do like me and use a highschool band pin to do it during your lunch hour... lol ittl hurt for a bit ut ittll all be worth it if you want guys swarming

i have had my cheek,eye brow,lip,nose all pierced.it really depends on the shape and stuff of your face
if you get your cheek pierced it hurts like a *****
