No, it's not too early.
There's a guy with a big beard and rolling eyes that lives in a cardboard box in the park close to my house. I see him drinking at 6:00 in the morning most days.
He's always singing to himself, so seems happy with a morning beer, even though he smells a bit.
Therefore, it's never too early for a beer.

What's a JCB? If you have to drive later you should stop drinking now, and yes Life's a b**** but it sure beats the alternative. Wait until after your responsibilities are met before you start pounding brews. There is no beer in prison, or in the poorhouse!
