A man defending his home is 10 times more powerful than an invading attacker..... I knew it would not work the day this began...

America was motivated by corporate greed and power, when we were going to war for that, no, we are the evil entity here and they know it, it is only stupid Americans that think we are liberators rather than thieves.......

We won the war. Its the occupation we can't win. Nobody has ever won an occupation. Look at all the Eastern block countries that are no longer part of Russia. The US always wins the wars. Its when politicians get involved we get in trouble. They need to tell the military what they want done, let us figure out how. Get it done. They they can come see what happened. The US never lost a battle in Vietnam but the war is considered a loss to many. Gulf War? Letting the politicians play Army is like letting a toddler play with plastic bags. Something bad is gonna happen. To bad its not the politicians that end up holding the bag... or in it.

No,I'm not surprised at all and I know the outcome before even invading the country.and anyone can find out the same results if he or she tried to look at the other side of the coin, and with some knowledge of the Middle east history especially Iraq.Just ask yourselves
ONE single question !!!!!!
As a good patriotic Americans and you love
Your country just like everybody else,
What would you do if you see the Russian troops all over New York City,California,Florida
and...just name your town and they're going
Door to door arresting all males from Nine ,up
to sixty years old ?your daily life depends on
a foreign country?and too many other things?
THE NATIVE PEOPLE WILL NOT CARE ABOUT THE REASONS WHY THEIR COUNTRY WAS INVADED!that's why they'll
fight for the country to DEATH because they have no place else to run to!!!!!!
It's very easy to understand and who'll not do
The same thing for our country, America ?

Just the Americans? You know there are Tens of Thousands of Iraqis who are fighting against the chaos, and most of the attacks occur in the center of the country, the North and South are mostly quiet. At some point, people have got to stop 'blaming the Americans' and realize it is the up to the Iraqis to stem the violence. These people are not going to stop killing each other just because the U.S. leaves. Every bomb that goes off sets the rebuilding process farther back, every hostage killed reinforces the cycle of violence. This is a tragedy for the Iraqi people, esp. those that do the destroying, for they have convinced themselves that they are somehow heroes by slaughter. It is the next generation that will have to pickup the pieces, long after the commentators find something else to occupy the pubic's mind.

No, we were told by Saudi Arabia that we would cause unrest in the entire region if we toppled the government of Iraq. They were right.

When defending the home for your own children and family, you will give a good fight. If the enemy knows he is there to steal, his downfall is assured. There should not be any element of surprise for people with common sense.

Pretty much surprised.
They were all geared up when they first went for war, promising lots of changes.
It is a big disappointment.

Go strictly by the numbers, and we're way ahead on points.

Given a free hand, the military would have scratched them long ago. I say let us do to Bagdad what the Romans did to Carthage.

no, but i don't believe it has anything to do with our military, it has to do with the fact that half our country shuns the war and is not supportive at all of the troops. its the unpatriotic population that is losing the war for us because they lower the troops' morale which is very detrimental to the men and women serving overseas.
