I am widower and am not looking for someone to fall in love with. I have money and like uncomplicated relationships with mutual respect and understanding.

No, as long as he can show his appreciation with emotion as well down the road. The old adage. "Money can't buy happiness" applies to this. While it is great that you are willing to show appreciation financially, if you don't add emotion to the equation, then they are probably just after your money. Emotion is important. I understand that it must be hard jumping back into a relationship after losing your spouse. That being said, showing your appreciation financially is better than not showing it at all. I hope that helps. Sorry to hear about your loss and good luck! It's a scary world out there!

No there's nothing wrong with a man showing attention financially. There are some men who don't know how to show attention so they do so by other ways. My father isn't vocal with words towards my mother but he shows his love other ways such as fixing her car, getting solar panels for the pool because she loves to swim. And you sound a little older and I think older men like to be able to do something financially for the one they love.

I would say absolutely not. I would specify appreciation by saying appreciating her company. Women are fun to be around and paying for a woman is a nice gesture.

As far as I am concerned, a woman who doesn't appreciate a man who takes her out has some sort of minor inferiority complex and should focus on enjoying herself, while you enjoy your time.

Of course your money doesn't get you anything, sometimes it will get you a dirty look, but I believe its a nice gesture.

A mans opinion.

I think women like to have someone be a little more appreciative and show it financially. It's not often a man will do so.
