I can see a cow everyday. I understand a cow. I can study a cow's behavior and even disect it for more knowledge about how it works. I can guarantee there is nothing divine about a cow. The multiple stomachs are cool, but all in all the fact that some people worship this obviously ingnorant ackward animal is humerous.
Now if you could say the same about a being that you have no way of studying, or if you even had some solid evidence that was not based on opinion, then maybe I could see your point. But you base your opinion on the idea that your intellegence or reasoning is without flaw.
You don't have to be a genius to figure out that there are evidences that suggest a God and evidences that do not. I found in my life that evidences that suggest and seem to agree with Creative Disign outwiegh the latter.
Now here is the point: You and I know that cows exist. We would agree on that. We could also agree that a cow shows no signs of being Holy or divine in anyway. On the other hand we would disagree on the existance of God...but the mere question of whether He exists or not does not change the fact that if He does...His very nature is that of divine diety.
You think you have a point, but you don't I believe in cows. I just don't believe they are holy. You don't believe in God, but if you did you would believe He is Holy.
Not the same...try again.

This is a cheap way to invite deliberate criticism of a really peaceful and beautiful religion
If someone really have brain, read the philosophy of hinduism (Upanishadas and Gita) and then criticise.
The practices prevailing in India, cant be blamed on Hinduism
Like child-molester bishop and terrorists are said to be non-christians and non-muslims
AND MIND NO HINDU HAS EVER CONDEMNED AN ATHEISTOR A NON_HINDU TO HELL...
Because we believe, all relgions are guidance from God and all people in the world are searching the truth in their own way

There is a wide margine of difference between mocking an animal because it is an animal and specifically mocking a animal out of spite for the people which hold it sacred.

Yes, i have made fun of cows, and no I do not feel guilty about it. If god didn't want us to have a sense of humor, why would he have given us one. And if he gave us a sense of humor, why would he be upset when we use it, even at his expense (as long as we are willing to poke fun at ourselves as well, and realize that it is only a joke).
