I find it entertaining...Women try to pick up my husband all the time, i leave him standing there to deal with it alone or i stand close and laugh...I trust my husband, so it wouldn't bother me...

Well I thought I'd answer this since I am in this PRECISE situation right now! Each situation is different and it depends on the details of how f-ed up it is. But overall, it is NOT OK. If this person knows you are in a relationship with someone, they should absolutely back off. I say confront them. Explain you are in a relationship and it bothers you they are pursuing your significant other. Also talk to the person you are involved with and explain that this bothers you a bit. Don't be passive about this! I wish you luck! I know how annoying this is.

I would have a talk with this person and let them know where you and your mate stand and that there is no room for another.Another thing also, talk to your mate to make sure that there is no false hope being signaled out to this person as well, and for your mate,in front of you,to put a halt to this pursuing asap from mouth to ear to this other person.I'm sure you have probably already done this and more, but i just wouldn't know what else to do other than get a restraining order from this other person for stalking or harassing you both.I wish you all the best and Happy Holidays!

When you say 'pursuing', you don't specify stalking or trying to hook up with the person I'm seeing.

If it''s stalking, the police usually come in handy here. If it IS a police officer... different story.

As far as someone trying to hook up with my girl and get her to dump me... This has happened to me once or twice. The first was with a girl I was seeing who was not ok with the guy perusing her and felt harassed. I became the guy's best friend for a couple weeks and had him convinced she was a hermaphrodite and that I'm a total pervert. (Her idea, not mine. Photoshop is fun.) Seeing as rumors don't generally affect me negatively where I work (common responses include "Ok... TMI" and "Whatever floats your boat..."), I don't mind having them floating around. It can make for entertaining conversation.

The second time it happened, it was a lesbian chick that wanted my girl. My girl was pretty open about being bi, but the chick wanted her exclusively. I'm open to my girl having a fling on the side, but I'm not savvy to losing my girl to another person. (Eh, call me crazy, but it's only fair. She has my permission if I have her permission and we don't dump each other for someone else.)

What can you do? Nothing. Leave it up to the person that you are seeing to make a choice. Hopefully, the person that you are seeing is commited to you and no one else. It won't be the first time that someone will have an interest in the one you are seeing.

This happened to me once. Another woman was pursuing my boyfriend and I told her to back off. She kept it up and eventually he broke up with me to be with her! I guess that wasn't much help. You can say something to the other person, but in the end it's all up to the one you're dating. Good luck.

I am in the SAME situation right now. I have tried to tell him that his friend pursuing him makes me uncomfortable. That has not helped, I swear it's gotten worse. So, I'm going to do one of the following:
a)kick the hoe's ***
b)kick HIS ***
c)DUMP HIM
or even
d)all of the above
Good luck!

Let your other handle it..whats it going to accomplish if you handle it? All that says is your jealous its way more effective if your other tells this person to back off.
