Yes the enzymes called Rennin and Pepsin are present in the stomach. Rennin acts on milk protiens and pepsin acts on all kinds of protiens and converts them to amino acids which are absorbed from the small intestine. Both require an acidic pH to functon which is provided by secretion of HCl. However the amount of Renin production is maximum in babies and decreases with age. Pepsin on the other hand remains throughpur ones life. That is why it is advised that milk should be consumed in lesser quantities by adults and elderly people.
