Only half enter without inspection. The other half, basically anyone coming by air, enters legally then overstays their visa.

I'm sitting in the fence on this issue, because I see good and Bad. From California, I could see how they help Increase Productivity. California would not be the Agricultural powerhouse, if it wasn't for illegal immigrants. They hlep keep food and other Items cheap. They do do it at the expense of some paychecks though. There is a huge need of low income laborers in Cailfornia. This is proven that Illegal immigrants are payed over $10 an hour and we still can't find enough workers.

It seems to be the Catholic Church that help the illegals find a way to take advantage of the American System and bankrupt small towns . By sucking all our benefits dry .
Illegals are also bringing drugs and diseases into this country , such as Whooping Cough , Mumps and TB .
Lord , only knows how many terrorist have crossed into America through open borders .
Do we have to be attacked from the inside , before Congress will close the borders .
Yes , some of us are immigrants or children of immigrants , but they came legally .
I know personally that a lot of them do not use good hygiene . In Mexico they go to the bathroom any where they want , when in the country
This could be a reason why we are seeing more outbreaks of
e-coli in our foods today .
30 years ago you never heard of that , in our meats and lettuce , onions and spinage . Maybe not , but it couldn't hurt to look at it .

The same reason most people who support criminal acts support them. They think that they are somehow high-minded and above all of the peasants who observe the laws. They and/or their cause are somehow ABOVE THE LAW (or so they think). I think if you don't like a law work towards legislation and social action to get it changed. Breaking it and supporting others who do does not suggest the high character that many who support ILLEGAL immigration seem to desperately want everyone to think they possess.

a lot of people just dont see the consequences it has and the stress it puts on our systems. some have relatives or friends that are illegals, some just like to piss people off. all illegal immigrants are criminals, they wouldnt be called illegal immigrants if they werent breaking the law. that being said, not all of them are bad people. however most people that support it just ignore the fact that some are. there are pedophile rapists murderers people involve ine drug trafficking organizations and much much more trying to enter our borders on a daily basis. if people knew what comes through, whats really happening on our borders they might have a different position on the issue. just because its not on the news doesn't mean its not happening

Well, I'm not going to argue for/against it, but I will say that people can and should question the validity of laws. The minute people stop is the minute that the government has too much power.

well intentioned, but misguided sympathies based on misinformation and poor judgement.. lack of knowledge and understanding or respect for our immigration laws. wonder what would happen if an illegal came through with a highly virulent contagious disease, and members of this underground pipeline started having casualties. i remember an illegal picked up in chicago in the early '70's working in a top line restaurant making salads with his bare hands. the man was said, by physicians who examined his infected arms, to have the infectious form of hansens disease ( leprosy ) !!! who knows what else is lurking out there, something biblical for illegals enablers to consider

Okay, put urself in the "illegal" immigrant's shoes: ur poor, u can barely support ur family, let alone urself, for xmas, u give ur son a pair of shoes instead of an xbox 360, and ur shoes have holes in the bottom. So u come here to america, where the jobs r a plentyful and where u can support a family if u try hard enough. Also, some pregnant women come have their children in America so that their children automatticly become citizens when they are born here.
In my shoes (my opinion), is who the f*** cares if they come... let them. Who said, "hey! this is my freakin land and u better get the hell off of it or ill pop a cap!" What makes this land ours? Y cant we share it. Cuz u know wht our ancestors did that makes us so f***ing hypocritical? They came over as "illegal immigrants" to the native americans; except the difference was that the native americans didn't have laws sayin, this is my tree, and this is my land etc. etc.. We came. We killed their people. We took over their culture, their language, their elite purity of life, and we made it the white man's (im not using that raceilly, im just saying white man as in the english/americans-im white myself). As soon as the white man stuck a fence in the ground and called that land his, we had problems. "my land", "no my land", "no u jerk ill kill u, its my land i was here first!" and they fight over the land untill one wins and it becomes Usa and somebody (ie the immigrants)wants to use that land that was so sinnfully claimed from the native americans and they cant.
