you're absolutly right. i've been guilty of it myself. i feel abd about it too. i've allowed myself to get offended and attacked some christian kid who was making rude athiest remarks and this has got to stop. we all need to love eachother no matter what religion we are. i'm so done with the athiest vs. christian thing. peace and love everyone.

I love how some Christians think that if you're an Atheist or agnostic that you worship Satan. Also, Christians talk crap about Satan all the time. I "clown" God because he is imaginary. He's just like Zeus. I'm sure many Christians have had a chuckle at the Greeks for believing in their gods, so you can understand exactly where we are coming from. Christians also think the Hindus are ridiculous for believing in reincarnation or holding cows holy. I do this also, but you aren't allowed to if you believe a god impregnated a virgin who gave birth to a magical son who saved the world from evil.

Well, you're wrong as usually blind believers are. We're not clowning God but peoples opinions about the word and the subject, on less you can tell us and prove that your opinion or believe on the matter is absolute and final. But in reality we're not clowning yours believes, we're just expressing opinions and believes different than yours, I don't see why that has to be offensive no matter what. You just have to get into the conversations and explain the nature of your God and why you believe in Him. To tell us we should believe and have blind faith in this or that because some one in a very old book said that God said we should do so, that's not reasonable and intelligent conversation, and that's part of the problem.

It does say in the Bible that Jesus' followers would be hated, and that to those who did not believe, the gospel would seem to be foolishness.
But, i do hate it when people verbally abuse one another on a site that is for everyone. It is one thing to disagree with the truth and believe a lie, and therefore to try to present it as truth; it is another thing altogether to start abusing people. It is expected for people to consider each other wrong here, where we ask questions of people who will answer according to their beliefs (no matter how wrong they are). I do think we need to control ourselves or have our messages removed for attacks on others, that go beyond stating beliefs, facts, and reasonings. This is a public forum, not a brothel (OK, where should it be acceptable to attack others and use profanity? My answer is nowhere).

Just because someone doesn't believe in YOUR interpretation of God doesn't mean they worship Satan. If you can't phrase your complaint against intolerance without being intolerant then you shouldn't be complaining because you're part of the problem.

I can handle it!
It's a site where people discuss religion and spirituality. There are no "sacred cows" that we're not allowed to talk about. Sure, some people try to be offensive, but that happens on both sides. Just ignore the children and move on to productive discussion.

all religious belief is degrading to my belief, if you take a certain definition of religion. it really depends on what you mean by religion though. I believe that we share a common world and we can discuss the details and corroborate our stories to find out what that world is like. so we disagree. i find your beliefs very upsetting.

The concept of your Christian God is ridiculous, i.e. to be ridiculed. My beliefs are often ridiculed and Christians, by definition, ONLY "talk crap" about Satan.
Your tactics here are infantile and poorly developed.
