I'm wondering if someone would be cmpassionate enough on ebay to buy my yahoo cap I'm getting for someone's dental care especially if it was verified by a legitimate charity organization to be spent 100% for dental care, follow-up and dentures? I'm thinking it will cost approximately $2,500 but not sure yet.

I've SEEN some people have good success with this kind of venture. You have to write a deeply impassioned plea, though. Also, you MIGHT have your auction removed by eBay if someone reports you, because you are not really supposed to solicit dontations there. It's a fine line that distinguishes the two.
Contact your local or state dental association and and see if there are any dentists who provide free or reduced cost care for low-income, disabled or senior patients.
Call your local health department and ask about health centers that provide dental care for free or on a sliding scale.
Your local United Way may also be aware of such a clinic. In some areas, you can reach them now by dialing 2-1-1 for "non-emergency information."
Go to a dental school, if there is one near you, for reduced costs.
If you are a senior citizen, call your local Area Agency on Aging or Office on Aging. If you can not find a listing in your local phone book on the "County Government" pages (usually marked with blue borders), call toll-free 1-800-677-1116 to find how to contact the Area Agency on Aging serving you.
Check http://www.toothwoman.net to see if low-cost or free dental services are available near you.
Check http://bphc.hrsa.gov and choose "Find a Health Center" to see if there is a low-cost clinic near you.
Check http://www.nfdh.org/DDS.html to see if your state has a "Donated Dental Services" program. D.D.S. is designed to locate dentists who will give free care to patients who are financially compromised due to medical problems. This is a process that will take a couple of months to get your information and then arrange for someone to see you. Not all states have D.D.S. programs.
If worse comes to worse, check out http://www.prosper.com and see if you can find a funding source.

Probably not, but worth a try.
If you want to raise money for this person, first I would check with the charity to see what the real cost would be. Sometimes dentists will donate their time, so that all you have to buy are the supplies. Check with the local dentists' association. Then, personally, I would get together a team of people who care about this person, and brainstorm ways to fundraise. Chances are, if there's enough of you, you can all chip in and ask your friends and raise the money.

You earned that cap by the level you are on here. If everyone from here sold there cap on ebay, the prices would be lower. For people who do not know what the hat means, no one in there right mind would buy it. I would not. I keep what I earn.

ther are a lot of things sold on ebay. Things that no normal people would think of selling like for example 'the worlds biggest twistie' hahah that was on ebay recently but someone was stupid enough to buy it. What your selling is for a good cause im sure someone who has spare money will definatly buy it.

when you say cap do me mean like caps you put on teeth? Cause at first i thought you meant like a cap that goes on your head! lol
