Santa Barbara is nice. Down south there is Julian. Consider driving to Los Olivos (outside Santa Barbara). Arrowhead and Big Bear are nice but cold and snowy this time of year. Consider blowing for one night in a local fancy hotel. Santa Ynez and the Buelton area just this side of Santa Maria. Take a California road map and look for places off the freeways. Lake Isabella. Yosemite. Can you drive...a long distance? Consider Arizona (Scottsdale, Mesa, Sedona). Also, if you look for them, they're lots of very nice places very close by...but you have to look closely. Have fun.

I'm not sure if you live in So. Cal already and want to go nearby or are coming from another area, however as you may know it is pretty pricey in So. Cal. If you want the most beautiful area I would recommend Laguna Beach-it has beautiful dining, shopping and hotels all in walking distance from each other and the beach. Or if you are looking to run into some Hollywood stars and be by the beach Malibu is a nice choice. Other pretty places such as Santa Monica or Newport Beach are cheaper and still a nice choice however they are more busy and filled with tourists. I would stick with Laguna or Malibu for a quiet romantic time. It is cheaper than Cancun and Maui. Good luck. You can email me with questions if you'd like!

If you are going for cali, how about napa valley? Its very scenic, great food and free/cheap wine. I thought it was the perfect place for a honeymoon :). Relaxing, drinking scenic, what else can you ask for.

Anaheim...they have disneyland there! They even have an economy hotel that is a Disney Resort. Its called Paridise Pier...its really nice! I've stayed there twice.

Disneyland! Do it in a modified wedding dress and everyone will want to take your photo and share in your joy! Have fun and wherever you choose to go will be great and memorable! Congratulations!

I would go to Oceanside Harbor. The pier is beautiful at night, and the beach is wonderful!
