I work at a humane society. Stop feeding her and only give her water for the night. Intoducing another new food (rice) can make maters worse. Its only when the diarrhea persists do they recomen this bland diet. Dogs can't hold their diarrhea so take her out again if she doesn't go, your fine.

Rice is supposed to help diarrhea, don`t feed her any other foods until the diarrhea subsides, which shouldn`t be long if u know it was caused by a diet change. In the meantime take her out as often as u can, she can`t be expected to control loose stools and one feeding of rice may not be a total cure. Good luck to u both.

Apart from the rice, you can give her "intestinal" formula food. Doesn't she call when she needs to go? My dog had diarrhea and he started crying, we paid no attention and he did it in the house obviously, but when he wanted to go again he cried again and we took him out. Taking her out often is also a good idea, you'll see if the diarrhea has passed.

i work at a boarding kennel and we get dogs with diarrhea all the time. deffinately only give her water tonight and if you dont have any antidiarrheal medication for dogs you can give her a little bit of pepto bismol. the chewable kind would be preferable but if not you can pour a little bit down her throat. if she is a big dog only give her the dose a child would take and if she is much smaller only about a thimbel full.
this is deffinately a home remedy though im pretty sure a vet wouldnt back me on this one but its what i do for my dogs.

if its just new dog food. then the diarrhea for a few days. for my dog, it was about 3 days. though he had not have an accident.

instead of waking up every hour, maybe just every 3-4 hours, if you want to do so.

GIVE HER A BANANA AND THAT MIGHT CLEAN HER STOMACH OUT, AND THEN TAKE HER OUTSIDE TO LET HER "TAKE CARE OF HER BUSINESS". GOOD LUCK.

(I DON'T THINK U SHOULD GIVE HER ANY GRAVY DOG FOOD.)
