Texas and California belonged to the Mexicans, so one can argue that all residents in those states are illegal.

In fact from a native american perspective all citizens of the united states are illegal immigrants because this land was stolen.

Maybe the Mexicans will do the same. Take over the U.S.A.

Your history is a little off. When slavery became illegal in the USA, areas now known as texas, new mexico, arizona and california (especially texas) were thinking of becoming part of mexico to continue slavery legally. Texas was almost a state of mexico.

Also, Mexico wont allow any illegal into their country even if they are an american. If you try to work in mexico you will get your *** kicked.

Finally, we did not steal land from Mexico we bought it from mexico in the treaty of Guadalupe. The Spanish originally stole the land from the Indians, and like I said, sold it to us many years later because they could not control such an open area anyway.

170 or more years ago really doesn't matter. They didn't have welfare, free medical services, income tax. Americans crossing the border did not cause a drain on Mexico's economy. Get real and compare apples to apples here. Take a look a Mexico's laws for immigration.. No illegal alien, or immigrant is given free medical services, can't work, can't rent or own property, cannot receive welfare. To immigrate legally you have to bring with you the equivalent of 1 years income, you cannot buy prime property, if you buy property and engage in illegal activity the property reverts back to the state. and that is just for openers. Why sould we reward people for breaking our laws. I say we should adopt Mexico's immigration laws and then inforce them.

Whatever opinion you have- really has nothing to do with the here and now. There were not any immagrtion laws in place nor did the Indians declare to where they are a nation here is a set of immagrtion laws to comply with . Every nation is different which is why we have borders.

So, let's have the US/Mexico border fence, as provisioned for in the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. LEGAL immigration ONLY...that'll stop a lot of problems...

if you are referring to the time before california, texas, and mexico were divided how they are today, then you are forgetting the fact that back then there were no immagration laws. Anyways, now the mexican government seriously punishes illegals who cross into their country, yet it encourages them to cross into ours,
