Reduce your calorie intake to 1500 per day. Eat several small portions through out the day so you don't feel hungry, but count the calories. If you do this you will lose weight, it's safe, and it doesn't cost anything.
Good Luck!!!

Go to your Doctor,.. if you need to drop 130 pounds then you may have some problems a doctor needs to look into like your Thyriod.

If you can't deal with Doctors,.. switch to an all something or another diet. Even if you switch to Ice Cream only,.. just eatting the same thing every day whenever your hungry seems to lower a persons weight (yes... Ice Cream,.. but not Ice Cream + Pizza or you gain weight fast,... or Ice Cream + Salad).

But you'll likely want an all fruit or all vegtable diet.

Alot of people on Y!Answers seem to want to suggest you chug lots and lots of water. That will just make you gain alot of water weight and flush your system of neutriants so you will both want to pee constantly and be tired constantly... while you gain weight,... especially if your trying to starve yourself at the same time. Don't try to cut down like daily food in your stumock to 1/4th that also makes you gain weight,.. your body assumes your starveing or there isn't enough food any more so it stores fat (and water if you listen to the maniacs on here). What would work better is if you had the same ammount of food but spread out... cut up so that there are more meals per day but the same ammount of food... less food per meal,... this let's your stumock digest things completely.

Perhaps even more important than getting in shape to join the Navy is getting in shape for your health.
If you go on a diet to lose weight quickly, you very likely will go off the diet once the weight is lost, because to lose weight quickly you had to drastically reduce your food intake, and this cannot be kept up indefinitely. So you will gain the weight back. That's what happens to most dieters.
The key to success is to change your eating habits to one that you can retain all your life. The way to do this and not revert back to bad eating habits, is to just reduce your daily food intake by a small amount. In that way, you may not even notice that you are eating less, but the weight will start to come down. It will be slow of course, but you will be able to keep it off. Increasing exercise will also be helpful.

I would suggest weightwatchers. that way they can choose whats best for u and there will be other people there doing the same thing to keep u motivated. i would also suggest cutting out sweets, drinking lots of water, if u dont drink water now, then u can lose a bit in water weight if u start since ur body retains water when u just drink sodas. google bmi calculator, and then u can cut like 500 calories a day and thats a pound a week. also excersize is key. if u take diet pills. u STILL need to excersize. about 45 min a day. u can totally do this. just keep motivated!

There is no quick way to do it because its better to start out really slow and maybe after a good six months of exercises and eating programs you may see results.
Start stretching everymorning and warming up, then go for a fast walk. The next morning go for a run and add some exercises like lunges, crunches etc. you can get loads of exercises off the internet. Cut out alcohol, smokes, fast food and eat plently of vegies and fruit salads. Make sure you remember to drink more water as well.
Good luck and dont stress your body out to much.

Eccersize and diet.

When I wanted to do the same thing my recruter gave me a resipy that is hard to fallow but works wonders

In a large soup pot you add any vegi that you want (cabbage, green onions, bell peppers, carrots, stewed tomatoes, etc)

bring to a boil and add tomato sause and beef bulion, then salt and pepper to taste.

lets say you start on a sunday.

Sunday: 2 bowls of soup and all the fruit you can eat (the more variety of fruits the better)

Monday: at least 1 bowl of soup and all the vegis you can eat.

Tuesday: at least one bowl of soup and all the fruit you can eat

Wednesday:at least 1 bowl of soup and all the vegis you can eat.

Thursday: at least one bowl of soup and you can eat of both fruits and vegis.

Friday: At least one bowl of soup fruits and vegis again but you can have a small steak and baked potatoe. dont go crazy with butter and others like that.

Saturday: at least one bowl of soup and mix your fruits and vegis again.

continue the same thing the next week and the next. ONLY drink water or tea. Don't put sugar in your tea. If you want it sweet than use sweet-n-low.

I did this and lost 17 pounds in the first week and 10 the second. What you are doing is cleaning out your system of all the junk in your intestons and you WILL poop a lot and it is a very hard diet to stick too but trust me it really works and it works fast. But one big warning. DO NOT DRINK ALCOHAL while doing this. after a week of doing this I drank a beer and got one hell of a buzz after. you loose any tolerance you have to it.

GOOD LUCK

2 pounds/week is safe....any more than that per week you could get sick easily, body go into shock, or you will gain the weight back quickly.
Start doing exercises at home and eat 4-5 SMALL portioned, healthy meals a day. Eating 4-5 small meals VS 3 big meals a day increases your metabolism and overall helps you lose the weight.

yup, take what you want, put half back in the pot, and walk or run at least 5 miles a day, stay away from anything that takes less than 10 minutes to cook, or anything from a restaurant, drink more milk. and eat more fresh, uncooked fruit and veggies. Now, saying that, I am 60 lbs overweight, and have absolutely no motivation to do this. Find a motivation, andit will work. hoever, when I was 28, newly divorced and attempting to date again, it did work for me. (motivation)

you can't lose that amt. of weight quickly unless you consult your doctor and get a real diet plan from them. Trust me, You can NOT lose weight over night, you have to stick to the plan, and take your time, don't starve yourself, eat breakfast, drink lots of water. stay away from food that is high in sodium, fat, cholesterol, and of course sugar. Try to eat foods high in protein and fiber. exercise regularly, and get yourself a workout partner, maybe you have a friend who wants to reach a similar goal?? Try to team up and help each other reach those goals. See a dietitian about getting a diet designed for you!! Join the gym, make sure you combine weights with cardio, that way you melt fat while building muscle.[ weights without cardio build muscle UNDER the fat, a six-pack is no good if it's hiding under 6 inches of fat... and remember, muscle weighs more than fat!!!
