My birthday is a quiet day of reflection for me. I like to write about the year's events both good and bad, friendships made and friendships lost, what I learned, and what I have not learned. I write of success and failure, happiness and sadness. I believe in the universal order of balance and my writings reflect this way of thinking. I prefer to be alone on my birthday, uninterrupted by the needs of another.

I'm not sure what the true meaning of a birthday is, since it can mean many things to many people. The ancients believed it was a day of great power since it signifies the entrance into the light from the darkness of the womb. At death, the same journey into the light of spirit.

Whatever I feel like doing. The true meaning is a celebration of one's BIRTH! There is no other day more important than one's BIRTHday!
