1. Canola is not bad, either, and you can cook with it at high temp.
2. Fruit's cute, but I got the bad cholesterol down to perfect by munching vegetables. Less sugars, more minerals.
3. I make my own bread. I know what's in it.
4. Doctor told me to take a multiple vitamin, I might think of specific supplements. I'll check out E cuz you're checking it out.
5. Soap is soap. I don't care. Did enjoy the peppermint liquid from the old hippie days that had a label with a bunch of quasi-religious doctrines written in small type all over it. I'd need reading glasses to read it in the shower now.
6. Sorry, but for the guys, 45 min. of cardio with plenty of strength (weight lifting) training really works to keep the upper-body strength feeling manly. The wife likes it too.
7. Sugar is sugar. Salt depends on your kidney functions. Salt is not necessarily the culprit. Get your blood sodium levels checked.
8. Hey, I seldom drink hard liquor, and I'm cutting down on the beer. But you wanna take my fine red California wines away from me? Are you a fascist? What about my prostate????

More points:
1. Monitor your blood pressure.
2. Develop a new hobby.
3. Develop a new hobby.
4. Develop a new hobby.

Enthusiasm in any chosen endeavor automatically cuts 20 to 40 years off your age..

In my case I look OK, younger than the years and the mileage, but BP numbers suck, and I am feeling very old sometimes. There's a point where we just can't take health for granted anymore and have to start working to maintain and improve it.

Good luck and remember, the best way to feel young again, is to kick *** to achieve your goals.
