You've already gotten a slurry of suggestions! [some good....]
This color choice business all depends on your personal preferences and what all else is going on - in this room and your whole house.

With your given colors of purple, yellow & green: Red would be complimentary;
Of course, it has to be the right hue [often difficult to determine]; certainly not fire engine red, but a rich red leaning toward purple. It may sound risky, but the RiGHt color of red can be absolutely stunning.

The right choice in the Yellow family, too, would be complimentary. Here again, there are literally thousands of hues, and maybe only a couple of them are the Right hue.

Remember that CoLoR Changes ~ as it reflects its surrounding environment:
The Color of the chip in the paintstore is NoT the same color as when its held in daylight, NoR the same color as when painted on your walls. The OnLy way to judge the CoLoR you may be considering, is to paint some of it on the subject walls.

I'm not a white-walls person; and I rarely paint ceilings white. I've never subscribed to the [supposed] rule that painting a room dark will make it appear smaller; nor that painting it white will make it appear larger. [I don't care] I like CoLoR. It's all about how it makes you feel.
Seems to me that if you paint your walls white, your colorful furniture will stick out like sore thumbs.

Consider:
1. Not painting all the walls the same color;
2. Not painting the ceiling white;
3. Changing the color of Trim on each Wall [not in conjunction w/unlike Wall colors, tho; Here, I can see [the right shade of] yellow walls, but different colors on each wall's trim.]
4. The colorful mural idea [of another answerer] is worth noting.
5. Forget Wallpaper; It's tacky. ['scuse the pun]

Experiment. Have FuN. The thing about paint is, you can paint over it.

You have some loud, bright colors already. Try to paint the majority of the walls a light or beige color. Then, pick your favorite color out of the furniture and paint one wall with that color. This wall will be your accent wall and will pull the room's color scheme together.

OR If you really like bold colors, pick your favorite furniture piece and paint all the walls in that room the same color.

Have some accent pieces (pillows, vases, glass bottles, plants, rugs) that match the two remaining furniture colors.

I hope this helps! Interesting color choice. Very artistic!

Are you kidding or serious? Well... if you're serious then you need to go to your local fabric store and look at different fabrics with those colors in it. Pay attention to the background used in the fabric, bring a sample peice home with you. If you really love the fabric too you could use it to inspirenot only the paint color for the room, but use it for the curtains to help pull all the colors together and keep the room from being too disjointed.

find a wallpaper or wall paper border with those colors in it. Do not do the whole room , but just a wall or section. THEN look at the backgroud color and go with that.

NEVER paint walls white, if you can help it. Pick a light shade of green, yellow or lavender, if you plan on keeping that furniture.

The entire room can be white and you can border it with the same color accents as the rest of your furniture.
