Guyz tell me all the time how I'm so cool and so pretty but none of them want to be more than friends with me because thet're all obsessed with my friend. She's pretty and all but she likes guys. As in, before this year she dated so many guyz in one day that I couldn't keep track. When she would dump them they woul come to me to talk. They would tell me she is a slut and then ask her baack out. I'm not like that tho. I like one guy at a time and I prefer long lasting relationships. So if i'm just as pretty as her in their eyes then why would they rather date her for ten seconds and then call her a slut. She doesn't sleep around so what do they get out of that. They say they want something that'll last longer then go for her. WHY?
I'm sorry my questions so long but I want to understand.

It sounds like your friend may be what some call "a tease".
If she flirts a lot with guys or dresses more provocatively than you, then she will get more attention (assuming you both look good).

You should keep in mind that although there will be more guys going after her, the majority will not be the kind you'd want to have a relationship with. That may be why she breaks up with them so fast, and why they get pissed at her. They probably think she puts out and then they realize she doesn't so they get mad.

The good news is that you can kind of use your friend to weed out the guys that aren't looking for a relationship. The bad news is that some of the guys that are, may still look at her first. Eventually most guys looking for a long term relationship will realize that the type of girl they should look for would dress more conservatively and not flirt too much. Those are the girls that guys marry (and I mean in the traditional sense, with the lifetime commitment, not like some of the ones these days). I say that because I was one of those guys and now I have a girlfriend that I'm really close to.

I hope that helps.

Pobably the same reason that a girl will 'say' she wants a "nice guy". Then when he gets one, all she does is screw him over and leave him for a druggie that beats her. Oh, but she "love's" him, and "he doesn't mean to, it's the drugs."
People don't know what they want, but they don't want to have to work hard to get it. Relationships are tough, they require work.
These guys you're talking about, they want the easy score. So, she's outgoing(maybe even flirtatious). After they find out she's not putting out, they feel that they've been misled and want to block that road to other users in an attempt to hurt her back. They come back to talk to you, trying to get an angle of approach on her.
It sounds like, a smart playa would invest their time in you(bruised ego syndrome), so watch yourself. It's just a matter of time. I don't recommend accepting date offers from any of her rejects. I further recommend you take any new dating ventures slowly, if you really want to know that they want you for you(not just an easy score).
That's my 2 cents worth, and I've seen it all.

I would date you long before I would date your friend (that is, if I were still in high school). The reason those guys all dated her is because all the other guys want to date her. They think "hey, there must be something to her, because everyone wants to date her. I'd better try to date her." If you want to date a guy, why don't you ask one out? I'm sure there are lots of guys around who don't have the nerve to talk to you. Maybe you should consider talking to some of them. Stick to your ideals of long-term relationships, because they're the best. Good luck!
