what should i say to an aethiest who says

Well, i'm sorry, but when someone starts telling me that an angel and satan are having a moral conflict in my mind (although there is substantial, solid evidence stating that our mind works by using electronic pulses and chemicals) I kind of have to doubt their intelligence.

Where is this proof of miracle? You can't really say something is a miracle because that is all in opinion, there is no solid proof of a miracle, just your opinionated belief in it. A miracle is simply a coincidental phenomenon that no one understands (or even tries to comprehend) so there just write it of as a miracle.

You are such a sheep. You really should start doing some research for yourself. I'm going to assume that you've believed in the authenticity of this cloth for several years. But in less than 15 seconds I Googled "Shroud Of Turin," and found something to disprove it. Here is an excerpt from the article.

"Arguments and evidence cited against a miraculous origin of the shroud images include a letter from a medieval bishop to the Avignon pope claiming personal knowledge that the image was cleverly painted to gain money from pilgrims; radiocarbon tests in 1988 that yielded a medieval timeframe for the cloth's fabrication; and analysis of the image by microscopist Walter McCrone, who concluded ordinary pigments were used."

Pretty much this paragraph means that a Bishop did it for money, and after a very accurate scientific test using the element of carbon (which is in every living organism, so it would be present in a cotton/wool/etc. cloth) to prove that the cloth was made somewhere in the 1800's, not 2000 years ago when Jesus was supposedly alive. If you think I just made that up the link is Shroud Of Turin - Wikipedia
Read the entire article, read all the evidence. Fact versus belief...what is real and what you want to be real. I think it's pretty obvious whether or not the cloth is real.

What absolute and undeniable proof is there that jesus walked this earth. Did anyone anywhere else other than people in the bible claim to see him? What? No? That's what I thought.

Don't you dare delve into my life and make assumptions about who I am or what I've experienced. I do not speak of god because I know he exists, I speak in reference to your conceptual perception of the "creator". An anthomorphic falsified deity used as a simple explanation for the phenomena that you cannot understand. I disavow the belief in god not because of what I have gone through, I live a good life. I disavow it because I accept reality. I see facts, I acknowledge the cold, hard, and painful truth of existance. You, however, live in your fairyland where if you're a good little girl everything you ever want will be given to you, and anyone who doesnt believe what you do is a bad psychotic satanist who is just going to go to hell and isn't worth your time. You look down on all others who follow a different belief and try to "save" them. It has been going on for centuries. Americans send missionaries across the world to save them from their "eternal damnation." Stop being such a sheep and create your own beliefs. Weigh fact versus belief, what has been proven to be realy and what you've been told is real. Look at the immense amount of evidence supporting all that is scientific, and that lack that there is to support religion. Then look at how so much of what in considered scientific fact contradicts what your infallible little book claims. Wake up and face reality, stop hiding behind the belief that no matter what everything will be ok, because it won't

I am soooo tired of answering mad atheists. I keep weighing my options on how to respond. hmmmm.......hmmmmm......ok. Please don't be so insulting. I find it funny that you claim Christians are so pushy with trying to save people, and yet you work so hard to "unsave" people. Which is a more noble pursuit? We are not blind to the truth or ignorant. You also have a misconception about the relationship between religion and science. They may be mutally exclusive in your mind, but that need not be the case. I am sorry you find us being sheep so offensive. But that is what we are called to be. We are also supposed to recognize the voice of the Shepherd. I find that the shroud of turin is in fact a big hoax. In my mind it is like believing a potato chip looks like Jesus and therefore is a sign. Don't categorize all Christians as believing in this kind of thing. Most are very skeptical to things being classified as miracles. I think it definately does harm to the name of real miracles since these things are almost always proven false.

Are you have this conversation with an Atheist because you are trying to convert him? Stop it and stop it NOW.

An Atheist is a rational, intelligent person who, like Thomas, needs proof. Thomas didn't believe either, until he SAW it himself. So live and let live. It will keep your blood pressure down and you will be helping the Atheist to live longer too. Leave it in the hands of God. If God wants an Atheist to become a believer, He will do the work himself. I know, because He did with me. Bible thumpers only drove me farther away. So just secretly pray for him and shut up!

If you REALLY want people to know God the way to do that is not by preaching at them. The best way is to be an example of Love without beating them over the head with the bible. Please trust me on this. I was once an Atheist myself and I understand them better than you do.

A messianic Jew is a Jew that believes that Jesus is the Messiah. Christians and Messianic Jews believe that Jesus is the Messiah. They are Jews. The point of view of the anti Messianice Jews is best summed up by Mark JPAS when he said "it is acceptable to blend some degree of foreign spiritual elements with Judaism. The one exception is Christianity, which is perceived to be incompatible with any form of Jewishness. This is the double standard that is applied to Christianity even though Jesus is considered the Jewish Messiah in Christianity. Messianic Jews are looked at with even greater disdain. Why? its a cover for there own deviations from Judaism. Some Jews need to maintain a connection to Jewish family because they have deviated so much from traditional Judaism that many Orthodox question their Jewishness. They need find some way to distract attention because of there deviation from the Torah. This is done by pointing their finger at others to direct attention away from their own actions. You can't give yourself a title and expect that it makes you something. This is the argument that has been used against Jews that decide that Jesus is the Messiah. We are told that the mere belief of a different nature of God immediately invalidated a Jews Jewishness. At the same time Jews that become atheists, pantheists or stop practicing any element of their religion we are told are still Jews. They say that you can believe in anything but Jesus. Jews call conversion "joining the tribe". Things that would never fly in Orthodox or for that matter Messianic Judaism can be found in the Reform and Reconstructionist movements. A good example of this is a previous question asked here. The person asking worshiped the God Ferris but did not believe in him or the Jewish God. The focus of the question was" ...would you PERSONALLY feel comfortable welcoming me not just as a fellow congregant at your Synagogue, but as a member of the Tribe?" (so he was clearly asking about converting to Judaism). The response was "Reform Judaism covers a wide swath of beliefs and practices and I am sure you will be wholly accepted. ... I personally would accept you whole heartily as a fellow Jew." So some Jews will accept all kinds of deviations from the Torah but not belief in "Jesus". Let's not forget the Reform movement wanted to change the sabbath to Sunday to be more like Christianity. Most Messianic Jews are Torah observant yet you can become an atheist, stop practicing their faith, become a Buddhist, join a Unitarian Church and still be a Jew in the eyes of Reform/Reconstructionist Jews. Most Orthodox when asked about other Jews will say they don't know what non Orthodox Jews are. The same applies to the other sects. Speaking of sects Jews will tell you there are no sects but its not true. Rabbinical Jews follow an understanding of their faith that was established 1,900 years ago. They have their own canon of Scripture. There are also non Rabbinical Jews such as the Ethiopian Jews that follows the pattern of the Christian Old Testament and they have many additional books that they consider to be scripture. A group called the Karaites is the opposite of the Ethiopian and only believe in the 5 Books of Moses. Rabbinical Jews call Karaites "a sect of Judaism". You can goggle it and see for yourself. Don't let anyone tell you that there are no sects in Judaism. They say the the teachings of Jesus are very different from Judaism. They also claim that Jesus taught nothing new from the rabbis before him. Then they we tell you that there were no rabbis until a hundred years after the time of Jesus. Its all about winning the argument to them not about what's true. The problem is not differences but similarities. You should know ALL the writers of the Christian Bible were Jews but one. Much of our Scriptures are shared. The vast majority of early believers in Jesus were Jews. So when you hear the exact opposite you need to keep that in mind. A Jew can believe in Jesus and still be a Jew. Edit: those that make personal accusations should include links or shut up.

I have to disagree with you. Miracles do happen. The reasons why miracles do not happen to someone is because of disbelief. Jesus had indicated clearly that miracles can only happen when faith is there. If you do not have faith.....do not expect miracle to happen....or even if God did give you a miracle...you might be too blind to see it.

Maybe miracles never happen in your life cause you have never believe...and you have given up hope totally in God....but God never gives up on you.

To cite my own experience, i had hypertension and by faith I commit to God mine illness...and by faith I am healed. Even my doctors could not explain it. It is just one of the small miracles that happen in my life.

The reason why you write this message is either you really disbelief or you wanted someone to tell you a good reason to believe. To me, whether you believe is between you and God. No one can tell you anything.

However, many people who did not know God always feel a certain level of emptiness and a certain level of frustration and stress....and helplessness in many situations.

And I do pray that you will get to know Him.

Question #1 to ask; if you were to die today do you know for sure you would go to heaven? Question #2 to ask; if you were to stand before Jesus and He asked you why should I allow you into my heaven what would be your answer? now this is were you need to know the answers and how to share the Gospel message with anyone. the Spirit is the One who will draw them but we are the tools in the hands of God to share the words to bring others to salvation.

I'm an agnostic. years ago, while in high school I used to babysit for a minister who was doing his doctoral thesis on whether Jesus actually lived and I've seen photos of documents that stated that Jesus did in fact walk the earth, payed taxes, and was executed by crucifiction for sedition. The Romans were very good record takers.
