I live in Bangkok for quite a while and I have never heard of this taking place here? However, you know in Thailand, buddhism is quite tolerant and you may be able to have a ritual ceremony that way, which is more on the spiritual level than religious level. After all it is a piece of paper you are after or the spiritual feeling?

One thing I will tell you, I have been all over the world and Thailand is the absolute most accepting and tolerating place I ever been for same sex couples.

I have many, many friends in same sex relationships here and they are the best people and best of friends.

One of the reasons I moved her from the US, is to escape everyone's opinions and pushing off of religion and ideas when it they are not wanted. I accept everyone for who they are as a person and I judge no one and do not want anyone else's ideas forced on me.

Thailand (not counting 3 provinces in the south of course) is not only extremely tolerant of same sex, but here in Bangkok, as an American, I can go to an Iranian restaurant for example and have no fear at all. All people of all nationalities blend together in this wonderful city.

Katoeys or ladyboys are also widely accepted in society here working in a wide range of jobs including professional level.

If you want a place free of all religious and sexual persecution, Thailand is the place for you.

They would have to drag me kicking and screaming out of Thailand to get me to go back and then that probably still would not work.

We all have a destiny on earth and Thailand happens to be mine.

You can coordinate with Thailand's recognized gay and lesbian associations. They can help you with your queries. Ceremonies like this are performed privately and I've personally attended a "wedding" like this of a friend of mine here in Thailand. Of course it's not officially recognized by the government because we don't have any law to legalize it. But ceremonies like this are done so the couple would "believe" that they actually got married for their personal satisfaction.

Please bear in mind that same-gender marriage is not and will not be performed in a Bhuddist ceremony.

This is not acceptable in Thailand, even if it is that tolerating. Even in Buddhism, they tolerate much but not same-sex marriage. So you probably have to consider other countries for this.
