Any animal that is a pet and a family member that you love will go to Heaven no matter what anyone else says. God, or whoever you worship, would not disappoint you.

I just lost my Boston Terrier, Teddie(she was ten) and I truely believe that animals go to Heaven. I was watching a tv show the other day and this Christian woman had a near death experience and shs saw her beloved childhood pet on the other side. I don't know how crediable she is but it gave me some hope to see my pets again someday. Animals are so sweet and they make life so much better so I would think Heaven has to have animals because it is a wonderful place. Also...dogs are angels sent to earth from Heaven to give us unconditional love and acceptance. They give us so much love that they can only stay on earth a short period of time...to bless us! Then they must return home to Heaven and rest while wating on us to join them! In the Bible it talks of animals in Heaven...not sure where but there are some scriptures about the lion and the lamb in Heaven. God created animals so I am sure they go to Heaven as well. I would ask a pastor where to look for scriptures pertaining to animals in the Bible. Good Luck and God Bless!

I'm sure it says that dogs go to heaven in several places. The real question is, do dogs REALLY go to heaven? If we consider that dogs, by their nature, can only be good and kind, never commit crimes against humanity, don't lie, don't cheat, steal only what we leave out in the open, practice unconditional love as a way of life, do not judge people and will protect us with their very lives, then yes, dogs go to heaven. Further, they sit at the right hand of God.

Let me ask you something.
If you're eliminating all answers that say "dogs don't go to heaven", why did you even ask this question?
Secondly, who cares what the Bible says? Even if it says that dogs don't go to heaven. There are some religions that do say dogs go to heaven (or an equivalent), as well as all other animals. What makes the Bible any more dependable than the other religions?
Personally, I believe ALL animal and human souls are viewed equally by God.
If anyone has a problem with the above statement, kiss my backside.
Oh and all animals and living things have souls. Humans are animals too, read a biology textbook. It's called the astral being, aura or non-corporeal entity.

No one knows exactly what heaven will be like, so it would be ridiculous to speculate. However, the Bible says that man was created in the image of God, and that he has a soul which will make it to heaven or hell. There is no mention of animals having souls.

The bible my friend..Let me tell you a thing or two about the bible..
The bible was written about 30 years more or less after mr. Jesus was dead..therefore,I tend to take stories from the bible w/ a grain of salt.. I think for myself..I'm not saying the bible is a bunch of crap..
I'm saying I'll take stories from the bible, then think about it..and
ponder my own thoughts about it..make my own conclusions about it.. I mean, you have to.. Who the hell knows if it's all correct or not.
It very well could be true..But I like to make my own decisions..
Now do dogs go to heaven? Define heaven...
I say that is subjective..All of it..
Nobody can for sure say one thing and expect it to be accurate
for everybody else in the whole world.. There's so many freakin'
people on Earth, so many beliefs and opinions..
If one thing is true for you, it may not be true for someone else.
Now I'm gonna ask you..Do dogs go to heaven?
Answer that yourself..And what is heaven to you?

I believe that we are not individuals, but spiritual extensions of God. This applies to everything including dogs. When we "die" we can return to our origin, or "come back" in a different form.
Earth is heaven. Our purpose is to express the purpose of the universe. It doesn't matter if you are a blade of grass, a flea, an elephant, a man or a dog.

It never specifies dogs in heaven but I see no reason why not. God created animals too and the Bible speaks of different animals, trees, rocks and all kinds of natural things there.

Yes, animals go to heaven and wait for us. Don't know the citation, tho'.
Sylvia Browne wrote a book on the subject. Check it out.
