to theladies,i am a non smoker, and when i go to a party or something and people offer me a smoke, and i say i dont smoke, they look at me like im from some other planet, besides why do people relate smoking with sexy and macho, i saw the guy my ex girlfriend is dating on myspace, and he put his pictures on it with her with a ciggerete in his mouth, and some cheap *** comments on the page, it was hilarious, what do you think?

Well, I try not to judge people that smoke. I have a few friends that smoke, and I don't mind. As long as they don't pressure me, I don't lecture them.
But I've never had someone offer me a cig and then look at me funny when I declined. Most people respect others decision not to smoke. Maybe those people you talked with just have a skewed outlook on the world.
There seems to be some social connection between smoking and being a hardcore bad ***. But, I personally don't see anything else but a person with an addiction. But, then, don't we all have little addictions?

no I think guys that smoke are weak to the influence of today's society and in essence not attractive. They are smoking because they think it's the cool thing to do and that's what everyone else is doing. No, it won't get you chicks, I used to smoke myself and didn't find a man with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth any sexier than a man without it. I've found since I've quit, in March of this year by the way, that people who smoke are even less attractive and smell pretty bad as well. Don't start, please, you will be sexier because you stood up in your own beliefs and your own health, and in return you will attract women who are healthier and more attractive because they probably won't choose to smoke either. I think its admirable when someone doesn't do the "in" thing, but stands alone to be a better person.

No, not at all. If they look at you that way it's because they are stupid and ridicules and want you to look that way with them. I do not have anything against smokers. I say live and let live what ever rocks your boat but don't make someone feel stupid because they don't do what you do, that is why I say they are ridicules and stupid and want you to look the same. I do not think that is cool or sexy. And I am sure allot of women feel the same. There is nothing cooler and sexier in a man then to be original, be himself.

I dated a smoker once and it was like kissing an ashtray. Needless to say, I won't ever do it again. Smoking isn't sexy; you're just hanging out with the wrong type of people.

Okay, I'm sorry I'm not a lady, and this isn't an answer to your direct question, but why look at the myspace page for the guy who's dating your ex. Is the real question here: Does my ex think her guy is cooler than me...sorry but yeah, otherwise she'd be dating you, sorry again....Piece of advice: Forget about her, she's gone and you can do better.

I don't really think it matters whether or not a guy smokes.. I think that you need to get over that one.. I smoke and don't think it's cool but I think that it's a personal choice and i'll tell you that I could care less if a guy doesn't except me for this- if a person is that fixed on something that stupid, then they obviously don't have much to offer to the relationship..

If you want my honest opinion...
I think guys who smoke are stupid. My pa' died from smoking, smoking in general is stupid. When are people going to realize that smoking just isn't cool and your damaging your health by doing it. I have a friend that started smoking whenever she was stressed out and now shes addicted.
a lot of people are smoking now and i dont think that the commercial ads are even helping.
You know whats sooo stupid?? My dad smokes, and he knows that his own pa' died from smoking. *Some people just don't learn.

I smoke. I don't think its a turn on for most people. But I think some people should also relize that it is the hardest addiction to quit. That most people started smoking before they were old enough to relize it. And for me, It was to hot girls who smoked who got me started........I hate them now.

Smoking is very sexy. I think its so hot to look at a guy smoking at a party and just think about it, in 40 years he'll be carrying around his own oxygen tank.. thats hot!!! :)~
