Take a good photo of him to a caricature artist, either at a shopping centre, or a professional, and have a large scale cartoon of him doing his favourite hobby, get it framed, and give him that.

they work themselves to death 24/7
Give him a quiet day in some secluded cabin
with a meal catered for a king.
A nice cabin with a hot tub.
Lots of the good stuff on ice.

a really cool toy. A gadget of some sorts. Remote control plane, or something that will stimulate the kid in him. We males aren't really men, we are just boys who through time learn to act like we aren't boys anymore. Believe me when I say, its better to apperciate the kid in us, instead of trying to supress it.
