My eyes are so itchy lately. It's always in the inner corner of my eye and gentle rubbing doesn't help. I've resorted to dabbing hydrocortizone cream into the corners of my eyes which may or may not work... Sometimes it's one eye, sometimes the other, sometimes both. My eyes are not red or puffy and I have no history of having any allergies.
Any ideas what this could be? Or how I could go about determining what it is?

Okay. For starters, stop using hydrocortizone in your eyes. That product was intended for external use only. They don't put that on packaging for nothing, dear. It's sounds like your eyes may be dry. We are coming up on winter, and the change is a big deal for our skin, our eyes, our sinuses, etc. I recommend using a natural eye moisturiser like Simialsan. They are a Swiss company, and use only natural cures. I found it at Walmart for about $5.47. It's well worth it, too. If that doesn't work? You may, in fact, have allergies. You can develope allergies at any time. Check w/ a doctor ASAP. Good luck!

It's probably either allergies or dry eyes. Try some moisturizing drops.

The HC cream is not a good idea.
