It's definitely genetic. Infatuation, love, sex... all this fills the purpose of propegating our genes. Believe me, it drives me insane. I'm perfectly happy being single until a crush comes along, and then I feel absolutely crazed... because I am.

Because it is natural, fun, exciting. It is part of your life and it is the closest you can get to another human being, you are open, nothing else to hide.
and also it opens up pathway to another world if you are open to it.
