how can I get confidence in myself and be better with girls...? any tips please!

JohnO, if you're old enough to find it difficult to approach girls you recognize how others project their feelings. But we all have a tendency to project our own feelings as well. So if you approach a girl projecting the feelings of failure, she will sense it and perhaps respond to that projection of yours. This isn't what you want. If you look at the guys who seem to be most successful in approaching girls I'll bet they do it with a projection of confidence. They ask with the mannerisms that suggest there's no doubt in their mind but what they'll be accepted. That doesn't make them any different from you, just that they've learned something you haven't yet learned. Go inside yourself and find out what's really important to you. Focus on that. Focus on how great you are. Focus on the idea that it really isn't important if this girl says yes or no because you already feel like a complete person without her. Then, when you ask, you'll know that her answer isn't really that important.

I have a hard time learning to read... practice.
I have a hard time learning to talk... practice.
Everything we have learned... we have had to practice at some time.
Well social skills are no different. You "shyness" just comes from a lack of confidence.
Something to remember. You want to ask out certain girls and not others. Why? Because you (like most human's have a preference) You have your type. Well girls have thier type as well.
The problem is.. as you are "learning" you take each rejection as yourself doing something wrong. Its not the case. You just aren't thier type. Its not your problem, its thier loss.
Just be yourself. You'll find someone who likes you for who you are... and usually when you are "not looking" is when it happens.
Remember:
Why do adults have a harder time learning computer skills than children? Because adults are afraid to try and fail.

talk to her....most girls are shy....so if you come up to them maybe you wont have a big problem think of them as friends not as crushes then eventully you might be able to talk to them and if they like you and you like them you might ask them out and yea
