the 5 senses are hearing, seeing, touching, tasting and smelling.
God created us and gave us these senses so we can experience our surrounding. So far I have not heard God's voice, seen Him, touched Him, tasted Him or smelled Him. But I know Him by my soul/spirit, my emotions, my thoughts, and my faith.
I believe that giant squid exists but I have never had any of my senses confirm that. I believe the scientists and fishermen stories. There are a lot of things that I believe exist or have existed that none of my sense have confirmed for me. Just like none of my senses have confirmed God's existence. Only my faith and my soul. Well, actually my senses have confirmed that God exists because I experience nature.

What about the Sixth Sense of the Gut?
The Seventh of the Mind?
The Eight of the Imagination?
The Ninth of the Heart?
The Tenth of the Soul?
Five Physical senses, Ten senses total. Get thou facts straight, oh atheistic one.
PS--This question makes no sense, as five senses are unrelated to God or the mind. Nice try though.

The reason is that you are a spiritual being. You are born with a sense of wonder about your creation. Look around you. Do you think all of this was an accident? Scientist are trying to reason how we are created. They cannot explain creation and never will. It is like the chicken and the egg question. You cannot answer it. But look inside of your heart and you will discover that faith is principal way in which you believe in anything.

That's pretty close to the philosophy of solipsism: that the world is only what we think we aprehend with our known senses. Of course , our dreams can't tell the difference between their creations and those of our senses when awake.
No, the universe is more than we can sense. Otherwise we would be able to understand it and even control it.
Beyond our senses are some intangibles. The great one is God.

That's not so because I can perceive things better through my heart and that is where God dwells. The heart can let anyone perceive things much better than your sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch can ever do.

The activity of your MIND is distinct from the five PHYSICAL senses. If your mind is in its SPIRITUAL mode, it is certainly NOT perceiving thru the PHYSICAL senses.
I can certainly "think of" things not related to the five senses. Can't you?

Hmmm, maybe I'm too simple, but I cannot really follow your logic.
Or maybe your approach is a little bit simple. For example ocean tide is caused by the moon, and the pulling force that it has on the body of water, yet we don't see the moon pulling the water. All we see is that the water is rising.
I don't know which way you are going with the question. Please if you can, give some additional explanations. Thanks

Because we have five spiritual sences also. Jesus often talked about our spiritual sences. He would say "He who has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit says." Or "Taste of the Lord and see that He is good" or "Lift up your eyes to the hills, from whence coneth your help. your help comes from the Lord."
