I need an S video cable right? then what?

If your computer has a composite or s-video port, then yes, all you need is a composite RCA or s-video cable. Connect it to your TV. Then, go into your Display Properties on your computer and enable your TV-out. On your TV, you can switch to the correct Video Input. Voila!

It's never recommended to connect your computer to a standard TV because it's only going to look good at 640x480 resolution. That is a very low resolution. If you have an LCD or plasma TV, then go right ahead. You will get a nice high res picture.
