Have you heard of a place called Alberta? They are suffering from a crippling labor shortage. Since Canadians aren't willing to relocate to where the jobs are the only solution is to being workers from other places to fill the void and keep the economy going.

As a side note, overall Canada has a very low unemployment rate.

There are lots of jobs out West, and Canada is suffering a negative population growth. Besides, I bet you family emigrated here from some other country, some time in the past, so lighten up as you sound like you are being a racist. Question, would you mind if they were all white and spoke English, or is it because they have a different skin colour than you, and speak a different language.

There is lots of work in Canada. I live in the West and we need 150,000 workers NOW!

There is one problem however, there is a shortage of housing as the economy here in Alberta is growing as fast as China's. There is currently over 135 billion in new development slated for the next five years in Alberta.

We have a trillion bbl of oil, proven reserve in Alberta, and Saskatchewan's oil sands are larger than Alberta's. They will be the next major boom in Canada and they have less than a million people in that province. The unemployment rate in Alberta is 3%. So don't tell me there are no jobs in Canada, every industry here is running hot and and help wanted signs are everywhere.
