To legal aliens and naturalized citizens of the US of A, where do you plan to spend your retirement years?

Here in the US of A or back in your old country? And what will compel you to choose one over the other?

OK this question really wasn't devoted to me. I was born in the USA as were my parents back for at least four generations. I plan to retire to a third world country where what little savings I have and Social Security (if it's still around) will have some meaning.

As much as I would like to go back to Korea where I was born, I was adopted by an American family as an infant and am through and through an American. If I did go somewhere else, I would probably move to a Caribbean island, preferably one that speaks French since I am mostly fluent. But most likely, I will go back to Reno NV where I was raised.

I was born and raised here in the USA - with no hispanic background to me. I will be spending it in Honduras.

In Veracruz. I have a home there and in the US. (I was born here as well as my parents.) I like the warmer weather.

I know everyone hates the US, but screw them. This country gave me everything. I would be nothing if I had not grown up here. I am a legal resident.
