My boyfriend is sooo shy I am shy too but not half as bad as him. We sit together during lunch in silence.Very little talking goes on ...how do I get him to talk. Its like his mouth is glued shut.

He's probably just nervous because he likes you so much and he kind of clams up when he is around you. I would just give him time. He will get more comfortable around you and open up more.

Your question makes me wonder how did the two of you became boyfriend/girlfriend if you are both very shy. I'm glad you found each other, but it sounds like you are going to have to make the first move or you'll be sitting in silence all the time. Try holding or touching his hand and ask him does he like what you are doing. If he says he does, ask him what he likes about it. Hopefully, this will get him talking a little.

Ask him what's on his mind. What do you have in common with him? Seems like you to need to access your relationship since these "silent" lunches could be a tell-tell sign that he's not into you. I would ask him how he feels about you and the extent of the relationship. If he can't answer that, I would take it as a sign he doesn't know what he wants; just wasting his time and yours...

he just has 2 learn 2 be comfortable around u. he needs 2 realize that u will love him, faults and all. That comes with time, it'll get better.

Grab his hand, hold it tight and start a conversation. It will de-sensitise him to physical contact, and if you care for each other, it will all come, don't worry, just give it time and re-assure him. Always smile... =)
